On March 30 , for the Easter long weekend we went and visited Chester.
It's just one hour drive from Manchester and it only take a couple of hours to visit, but we've never been there.
It was pouring rain basically the whole time but we still managed to walk around and wander.
The roman walls arre still up and walkable!

The Rows: medieval black and white buildings with a walking path on the first floor, very unique.
